Welcome to the North Bay Melanoma Program, sponsored by Redwood Regional Medical Group in Northern California. We give patients with melanoma, their primary care doctors, and their dermatologists access to a dedicated, collaborative team of specialists and care providers working together to provide a continuum of integrated, seamless care. This care includes:

• Standardized surgical protocols for primary melanoma excision and excision of regional lymph nodes, including sentinel lymph nodes, when indicated
• Standardized work-up and follow-up algorithms
• Standardized imaging and pathology reporting
• Local access to promising clinical trials for every stage of the disease
• Coordination of care from diagnosis, through work-up, treatment, and long-term follow-up, with a single point of entry
• Interdisciplinary input into treatment planning through a monthly Tumor Board meeting
• Providing patient access to current medical information on melanoma
