Cindy Scharfen, M.D.

Board Certified Radiation Oncologist

Dr. Cindy Scharfen graduated from Pomona College with a degree in Chemistry. She received her medical degree from University of California at San Francisco Medical School.

Dr. Scharfen’s residency was in Radiation Oncology at the University of California at San Francisco. During this time she spent a year in research publishing papers on Glioblastoma Multiforme. After her residency, she helped set up the San Diego Gamma Knife Center, for treatment of brain tumors.

Dr. Scharfen has been in private practice with Redwood Regional Medical Group since 1995. She has been active in the Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital Investigational Review Board and clinical trials for many years. She has been very active in the Redwood Regional Medical Group Breast Tumor Board and Sutter Breast Tumor Board.
